As of 2025, we are currently running 3 different sessions a week for Waterside Crafters.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers and committee members and everyone who currently supports the craft club and enables this non-profit organisation to flourish in our local community.

Tuesday Art Class

We have an ART specific class running on Tuesday mornings also in the Hythe Sea Scouts hut. Please contact either Carol O'Neil or Chris Galpin or email join@watersidecraftclub.co.uk to find out more about how to join this group. They are working with a professional artist who helps with water colour, acrylic and other paint mediums as well as artistic and drawing techniques.

Wednesday sewing group

For sewing enthusiasts, we have a small social sewing group running Hythe Library every Wednesday afternoon from 1:45pm until 4:45pm. We are joined by sewing teacher Nikki Connor who helps the group with technical questions, making sewing pattern alterations and learning new techniques. If you have an interest in a regular sewing class and cannot make the Wednesday afternoon session, please do contact us to see if we can help. We are hoping to expand our sewing sessions if the interest in the local community is there.

Thursday Craft Club

Our original mixed craft club runs every Thursday at Hythe Sea Scouts on Shore Road, Hythe from 12:30pm until 3pm.
